The Essentials
Ammonia-free color that refreshes, refines, and restores shine.
A gloss is an ammonia-free color treatment. That means no harsh lift chemicals, just tone and shine deposited gently onto your hair. It can be clear (for a shine boost only) or tinted, in which case it's commonly called a toner. At my studio, a gloss and a toner are the same service — the difference is simply whether color is added.
Gloss vs. toner — what's the difference?
No color pigment — just a shine-enhancing treatment that nourishes the cuticle and adds luster. Great for a refresh without changing your tone.
A gloss with color. Applied after lightening to neutralize brassiness and refine your exact shade — from platinum to warm sun-kissed blonde.
Think of it this way: all toners are glosses, but not all glosses are toners. The formula is the same — the only difference is whether color is added.

Common questions
How long does it last?
Typically 4–6 weeks, depending on how often you wash your hair and the products you use at home. Using a sulfate-free shampoo will help extend the result.
Will it damage my hair?
No. Because the formula is ammonia-free, it deposits color without opening the hair shaft aggressively. Most guests notice their hair feels softer and looks healthier after the service.
Can I book this on its own, or does it have to be added to another service?
You can book it as a standalone service. It's a great option between blonding appointments to keep your tone looking fresh.
Is this the same gloss included in your blonding services?
Yes. Every blonding service at my studio includes a gloss to perfect the tone. If you're already scheduled for a Dimension, Contrast, or Ultimate service, this is already built in.
