Tools You’ll Need

Products You’ll Need

Step 1: Prep

Step 2: Rough Dry to 80%

Using heat, remove most of the moisture. Your hair should feel cool and slightly damp, never dripping wet.

Step 3: Sectioning

  1. Top/Mohawk: from hairline to crown.

  2. Sides: from behind each ear to top section.

  3. Back: split the rest horizontally into two.

Step 4: Round-Brushing

Work from bottom to top:

  1. Place the brush under each section and pull outward as you direct heat downward.

  2. Keep tension—this smooths the cuticle.

  3. Once dry, wrap the section fully around the brush, heat for 10 seconds, then cool for 10 seconds.

Step 5: Crown & Styling Finish

Use the same technique moving forward through the mohawk to create lift and bounce. Once cooled, lightly brush out or finger-comb for movement.

The key to a bouncy, lasting blowout is tension, products, and elbow grease.
